Community Consolidated School District 181 has a vision to be a school district where all children experience success and exhibit excellence. The school district serves the communities of Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills, as well as parts of Burr Ridge, Oak Brook and Willowbrook. District 181 has earned a national reputation because of its tradition of excellence. This attracts homebuyers to the area who are looking for the best education for their children.

Hinsdale Township High School District 86 has a mission to "educate each student to his or her full potential as a lifelong learner in a safe, nurturing, stimulating, and respectful environment." District 86 believes that the leaders of tomorrow are in the classrooms today at Hinsdale Central High School and Hinsdale South High School. District 86 daily strives to provide opportunities for every young adult to acquire the skills necessary to become an active contributing member of our society.

In the 2004-05 school year, about 4,400 students attended the two high schools in District 86: 2,500 at Central and 1,900 at South. Educational opportunities abound with close to 300 courses, nearly 60 clubs and activities, and 28 interscholastic sports available to District 86 students in each building. Nearly 97 percent of all District 86 graduates matriculate to a college or university of their choice.
